Have you ever heard the term, "hit your mark"? This is what they are referring to. These T-Marks are a specialty item that actors or those who have worked on film/tv will be familiar with.
Aimee and Jimmy have both spent many hours on the sets of film/tv/commercials. We have both had to hit our marks many times.
I always thought that the sand-filled fabric marks used in Hollywood forever were not all that great, with a design that hadn't changed for decades, and I spent many hours pondering on how I could improve that design. They are officially called a "T-Mark" but none of them were shaped like a T. They were more like a cross.
So I decided to re-invent the proverbial wheel and officially change the Hollywood "T-Mark". What I came up with is the Jimmy & Aimee Marks.
They are now an actual T. They have a large grommet so you can connect several together with either a rope or a carabiner. They have the small grommet which is used to nail into the grass or dirt with a golf tee, so it isn't accidentally kicked away by an actor. And I added a small slot where I include that golf tee so you will always have it when you need it.
Years ago I gave a few of my prototypes to a friend who was working on the set of The Walking Dead in Georgia. When they arrived on set, the buzz went out and I started getting orders from other shows in the area. My T-Marks have been used on the sets of many movies and TV shows, including Ozark, The Walking Dead, MacGyver, Lady and the Tramp (live action), Little Fires Everywhere, Bosch, and more.
When Disney called to order marks for Lady and the Tramp, they asked me to create a new shape in addition to the T, and I came up with the L-Mark. Disney loved them!
We also make the "sausage" marks - Hollywood loves their nicknames.
If you are in the film industry, and/or you know someone in the camera department (they are the "keepers" of the marks), You/They will LOVE our marks. They are indeed the best marks in the industry!!
